We want Santa Fe Gente to be a place for our brothers and sisters in Santa Fe who feel they don’t have a place to speak, share their experiences, or have their voices heard.

Whether you want to put your real name behind your words or share your thoughts anonymously, there is room for you here. Your voice matters either way.

We know what it feels like to be left out, overlooked or made to feel like you don’t belong. That’s not what we’re about, and that’s not what this page will become. Our doors are open to the people of Santa Fe, whether you agree with us or disagree with us.

Above all, we are Americans. We look out for one another, regardless of political affiliation, skin color, background, or where our families came from. We may disagree about politics, but that doesn’t make us enemies. We share communities, neighborhoods, families, and a country.

We have a special place in our hearts for the Norte, for the people, traditions, history, and culture that make northern New Mexico what it is. We believe our stories deserve to be heard, our heritage deserves respect, and our communities deserve a voice.

This page is for the people. Not just the loudest voices, not just the politically connected, and not just those who happen to agree with us.

🇺🇸 SANTA FE GENTE: UNA VOZ PARA NUESTRA GENTE

Queremos que Santa Fe Gente sea un espacio para nuestros hermanos y hermanas de Santa Fe que sienten que no tienen dónde expresarse, compartir sus experiencias o hacer escuchar su voz.

Ya sea que quieras poner tu nombre y apellido detrás de tus palabras o compartir tus pensamientos de forma anónima, aquí tienes un lugar. Tu voz tiene valor, de cualquier manera.

Sabemos lo que se siente cuando te dejan de lado, cuando no te toman en cuenta o cuando te hacen sentir que no perteneces. No somos eso, y tampoco permitiremos que esta página se convierta en eso. Las puertas están abiertas para la gente de Santa Fe, tanto para quienes estén de acuerdo con nosotros como para quienes piensen diferente.

Por encima de todo, somos estadounidenses. Nos cuidamos y nos apoyamos unos a otros, sin importar la afiliación política, el color de piel, nuestros orígenes o de dónde vinieron nuestras familias. Podemos tener diferencias políticas, pero eso no nos convierte en enemigos. Compartimos comunidades, barrios, familias y un mismo país.

Llevamos un cariño especial por el Norte, por su gente, sus tradiciones, su historia y esa cultura que hacen del norte de Nuevo México un lugar único. Creemos que nuestras historias merecen ser escuchadas, que nuestro patrimonio merece respeto y que nuestras comunidades merecen tener voz.

Esta página es para la gente. No solamente para quienes más gritan, para quienes tienen conexiones políticas o para quienes piensan igual que nosotros.
